Answer is already uploaded. You may be scoring just above the cutoff
Deletemy daughter is scoring above 160.
ReplyDeletewhat is the cutoff?
Check the answer key now and write the individual scores of each paper.
DeleteThe MAT paper is very lengthy. Time management is tough. Kindly post the key as early as possible.thanks
ReplyDeleteAs per Aryan Classes website, NTSE Maharashtra cutoff would be 155.
ReplyDeleteShreya
how much u r scoring?
DeleteAryan class doesn't have information about scores of all the students. Only some limited students have entered their score and they may have entered false information also. Last year, the cutoff was 136. The level of difficulty of this years papers was similar to that of the previous year. However, the cutoff will be in the range of 140 to 145 out of 180.
DeleteYES I REALLY AGREE WITH U BUT IF DIFFICULTY LEVEL IS SAME THEN CUT OFF SHOULD BE 135-137 AND RESULT IS GOING TO BE MADE ON MARKS OF MAT AND SAT , LANGUAGE WAS JUST QUALIFYING SO THEN THE PROJECTED ONE IS 103-107.
DeleteIt has been a trend in the results of first stage of NTSE of Maharashtra that the cut-off increases slightly from the previous year. This may be due to more number of students appearing for the same number of seats. Last year, the cutoff was 136. It is expected that the cutoff will increase slightly though the level of difficulty of this year's paper is nearly same as that of last year. Hence, it will be around 140. May be in the range of 137-142 out of 180. Recently, there is a news that Language marks will not be included in the final merit list of Maharashtra. It will only be a qualifying paper. However, there is no official confirmation till now. The same thing was done by NCERT in the second stage for the last year NTSE. Maharashtra may also follow the same trend as that of NTSE. So, excluding Language paper, the cutoff will be in the range of 102-107 out of 140. Another interesting news. Aryan class has now decreased the predicted cutoff for Maharashtra from 155 to 145. I hope, they will also finally settle down near 140 out of 180.
DeleteI am getting 135 marks. Will I qualify?
ReplyDeleteI feel you should wait for the result, till then target next stage, boards and kvpy.
DeleteIt may be on just on the border. Nevertheless, try for other olympiads and KVPY next year.
DeleteCAN QUALIFY IF GETTING 103-107 IN MAT + SAT
DeleteCUT OFF IS GOING TO BE DECIDED ON THE BASIS OF MAT AND SAT , LANGUAGE WAS JUST QUALIFYING AND ACCORDING TO PREVIOUS YEAR RESULT CUT OFF WILL VARY FRO 103-110 OUT OF 140.
ReplyDeletethey have mentioned this in press note or notification?
Deletewhat would be the qualifying cutoff for english if its just a qualifying test?
DeleteNTSE Maharashtra answer key and cut off
ReplyDeletehttp://aryanclasses.com/NTSE-Maharashtra.html
WATCH OUT PREVIOUS YEAR PAPER AND THIS YEAR PAPER THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL WAS ALMOST SAME SO THE MOST PROBABLE CUT OFF IS 136 AND IT CAN VARY BETWEEN 134-138.
ReplyDeleteAND IF YOU WILL ANSWER OF SAT Q7 GIVEN BY ARYAN CLASSES IT'S 3 BUT IT SHOULD BE 4.
AND CAN ANYONE PLEASE TELL ME THAT WHY THE ANSWER OF Q1 OF MAT IS GIVEN AS 1 AND RABINA IF YOUR DAUGHTER IS REALLY GETTING THAT MUCH MARKS ACCORDING TO ANSWER KEYS THEN SHE CAN BE THE TOPPER OR WILL BE IN TOP 3.
SORRY ANSWER OF Q7 IS GIVEN 2
DeleteI HAVE JUST CALLED MSCE OFFICE AND THEY TOLD THAT LANGUAGE IS FOR QUALIFYING PURPOSE AND RANKING WILL BE MADE ON MAT + SAT AND EXPECTED CUT OFF IS 103-107.
ReplyDeleteI have checked with MSCE, NCERT and Aryan Classes.
ReplyDeleteThere are chances that languages marks may not be added.
I am scoring 105 marks and as per aryan classes I am very close. They may lower the cutoff after knowing the marks of more students.
As per aryan classes website there are chances that language would not be considered but till now there have been no official release.
ReplyDeleteI am scoring 74 marks in SAT and 39 in MAT.
I AM SCORING 135 MARKS OUT OF 180 AND 104 OUT OF 140 IS THEIR ANY CHANCE OF GETTING QUALIFIED? I FEEL ANSWER GIVEN OF Q7 OF SAT IS WRONG AND MAT Q1,Q18 AND Q44.
ReplyDeleteYES I TOO FEEL THAT ANSWER OF Q7 SAT SHOULD BE 'D' AND Q18 IS CORRECT WHILE Q44 'C' CAN ALSO BE THE ANSWER BECAUSE THE LOGIC CAN BE 10*(10+8)=180 BECAUSE 4*(4+8)=48.I TOO HAVE DOUBT FOR Q 1 OF MAT
DeleteI FEEL THAT THE ANSWER TO Q.31 OF SAT SHOULD BE OPTION 3.THE ANSWER KEY SHOWS IT TO BE OPTION 4.NAIL..I FEEL AS NAIL IS ALSO A VESTIGAL ORGAN IT CANNOT BE THE ANSWER.
ReplyDeletecutoff will be 115-120, sice d paper was damn simple, and considering it is d board year, SSC students have thoroughed der portion....really well. also der r roughly 400 seats (including quota), against 500 in d previous years...best of luck
ReplyDeleteu r very ryt
DeleteSEE PAPER WAS AS OF THE SAME DIFFICULTY OF PREVIOUS YEAR AND PREVIOUS YEAR TOO IT WAS SSC BUT CUT OFF WAS LESS BECAUSE NOW ONLY THOSE STUDENTS ARE GIVING WHO HAVE NOT QUALIFIED IN 8TH AND ALL OTHER SCHOLARS ARE NOT GIVING NOW THAT'S WHY THE CUT WILL BE IN THAT RANGE ONLY SO EXPECTED CUT OFF IS 104-106.MAT WAS LENGTHY THOUGH EASY.
DeleteMy scores are as below- SAT- 70-75, MAT-30-35, LANG.-33-36. Will i qualify?
ReplyDeleteCan anybody tell me when is the official ans key released by msce?
ReplyDeleteI called msce but they asked me to check later on.
ReplyDeleteif the language test is just a qualifying test then what would be the qualifying cut-off for english?
ReplyDeleteno idea if language is included or not.
ReplyDeleteif it is there, it would be around 40-50%
are u sure that the qualifying cut-off would be 16 to 20 only?
Deletebut dats nt rite the board or main head should think b4 putting language 4 xam...

DeleteI called MSCE. They told me that results will be out in first week of march. But they avoided to tell the expected cut off.
ReplyDeleteHow can anyone declare the results so late ? (after 4-5 months). Please anyone tell me the reasons about it.
ReplyDeleteNormally it is march but in 2013 it was declared on 1st april. The delay can be explained only by the authorities
DeleteSir, please give your precious reply on my previous comments regarding my expected marks. I am eagerly waiting for it.
ReplyDeleteYou have already checked with MSCE about the cutoff , to which they have not confirmed anything. You should wait for the results and till then focus on your boards exams.

MSCE is expected to declare the result in March.
Kindly wait for the result and till then prepare for the boards exam.

ReplyDeleteWe are not the one who can say if you would be selected or not. It's better to prepare for your boards and leave this ntse result for the time being.
DeleteOnly 387 students will be selected for second level from Maharashtra. The quota for Maharashtra have been lowered from 411 to 387.
ReplyDeleteQuota depends on various factors like number of students enrolled in junior classes in the state, past success rate in stage 2 etc.
DeleteWill this affect the cutoff marks?? What can be the reason to lower the quota?? Pl... tell...
Deleteless students - bit more competition and can also lead to bit higher cutoff.
DeleteHow high the cutoff can be?? Please explain the reason behind this act of MSCE..
DeleteMah result would be declared by 25th march. Language is qualifying. Quota is 387. - confirmed from MSCE.
ReplyDeleteSir,
ReplyDeleteWhen will MSCE declare the results? Almost all major states have declared their results. Any updates?.....
Sir, any updates about mah results?....
ReplyDeleteAre they (MSCE) telling the exact date of result? Pl. Tell...
