As per my experience, the questions of 2nd level were tougher than the questions of our state level, however, those of Science and SS, were not that difficult because they were somewhat understanding based rather than strict knowledge based. Sultanate period and Mughal period were stressed. The Math portion was really tougher than expected. None of the students, I met, were able to solve them properly, and claimed that they were of much higher standard than 8th. There were, indeed, some algebras which were tough, and the time allotted in this level was short for all the questions to be attempted properly.
ReplyDeleteAnd in MAT, questions were tougher too. The time was really VERY limited unlike our state level. However, I found an unpredicted question pattern, that involved a diagram of a maze with different people like A, B, X ,etc. on different parts of it, followed by questions like 'How many turns does A need to come out of the maze' and so on.

The State Level Examination held in November 2009,Questions were from syllabus of higher classes. However Maths and MAT were somewhat easier. The questions based on algebra were tough and took much time. Iwill give you advice to stress on Science. I am waiting for the result of Stage-I. Here are some questions for your help:-

ReplyDeleteNTSE Uttar Pradesh paper was EASY (except 4-5 questions). Maths was a little bit tough, but yet I solved 19 questions (out of 20).
ReplyDeleteI think if one gets 120 marks out of 180, he/she can qualify. I expect about 160 marks.

ReplyDeleteUP NTSE results are generally declared in 2nd/3rd week of February (they take about 90 days to check the copy, which is too much). This year, I expect, and request SCERT UP, to please declare the results earlier.
